Staying With Us

You're going to love it here

Creating an exceptional experience for our patients and their families is at the heart of what we do. Whether you’re visiting us for a brief outpatient procedure or undergoing a surgical procedure that will involve one or more overnight stays, you can expect unsurpassed care with first class comforts and conveniences throughout our hospital.

We believe that knowing what to expect will help you be more relaxed on the day of your procedure, and we welcome you to explore the hospital beforehand if you desire. Tours are available by contacting customerservice@thcds.com or by calling (972) 403-2820. Additionally, our patient liaisons facilitate one-on-one communication between surgical patients, their family and the health care team to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible.

Amenities galore

Many of our patients often comment that they feel like they’re staying in a boutique hotel rather than a hospital. It’s easy to see why, when you look around at our many amenities, such as modern furnishings, beautiful chandeliers, free WiFi, room-service style dining and a complimentary coffee bar.

Free, plentiful parking

Parking is convenient, abundant and free at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery. Unlike large, metropolitan hospital complexes with confusing parking garages, our facility is easy to navigate and provides plenty of parking spaces available just steps from the front entrance.

You'll also find a convenient, covered drop-off/pick-up area directly in front of our main entrance. Our parking lot is monitored by 24-hour security so that you and your guests can relax and focus on peaceful well-being throughout your stay.

Chic, comfortable inpatient rooms

The hospital features 18 private suites for patients who need to stay overnight or for a few days to recuperate. Patients enjoy comfortable surroundings, as well as personalized care during their stay. Every room features a daybed that folds out so that an adult family member or guest may stay overnight.

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Bringing in a few personal items from home can make your hospital stay more pleasant. We do provide hospital gowns while you are in our care, but feel free to bring your own pajamas for extra comfort.

Your guests are our guests

We want to make sure your loved ones, family members and friends feel welcome throughout your stay. That’s why we have an array of amenities to ensure their comfort and convenience. Click here to learn about these amenities or share them with your visitors. Knowing where things are and what all is available can help everyone feel at ease.

Visitors are welcome at any time. However, we recommend the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for visitation. While we welcome you to have a loved one or visitor stay the night with you during your stay, please know that we can only accommodate one overnight visitor.

World class dining

Comfort food takes on a whole new meaning at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery, where you’ll find a delightful variety of delicious, healthy meals prepared by our culinary-trained chef and his kitchen staff.

Far from ordinary “hospital food,” our patients select meals from a restaurant-style menu and get to eat what they want (the only exception would be if your physician has directed you to stay on a specific diet during your stay). Our regular menu features a variety of options with healthy choices, including main entrees, salads, sandwiches, and snacks.

Your nurse is available to help you with your selections, and patient meals will be delivered right to your room by our courteous staff.

Check-in Information

Preparing for your visit

Here are some tips to help make the check-in process as easy as possible

On the day before surgery, you will receive a call from your surgeon's office to assign your arrival time to the hospital. Depending on the nature of your procedure, it may be advisable to have someone drive you to the hospital.

On the day of your procedure, please enter through the front entrance (facing Parker Road). Please check in at the front admitting desk in the hospital lobby. You will be instructed where to wait for a Patient Access representative, who will:

- Review your insurance information
- Check your photo ID
- Update your records, if necessary
- Collect any co-pay or deductible
- Complete regulatory forms (Terms and Conditions of Service and Privacy Notice)

For your protection, we may ask the same questions at each visit to ensure our records are accurate.

Don’t forget your ID

People often ask why we need to see a photo ID. We do this for two reasons: First, we are required by federal law to verify patients' identity. Second, identification verification is a safeguard against medical identity theft. Medical identity theft is using someone else’s personal information to obtain medical services. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these procedures.
