About Roger Emerson, MD

Roger Emerson, MD completed his medical education at Yale Medical School, and orthopedic studies at Harvard. He was the chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a fellow in reconstructive surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Emerson is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is a member of both the Knee Society and Hip Society.  

Emerson's focus is on primary hip and knee surgery, especially less-invasive techniques. He offers hip surgery using the anterior supine approach, which helps patients recover faster with less pain. He also offers partial knee implants and total knee surgery using custom instrument guides designed exclusively for each patient.
