About Jacqueline Chen, MD

Dr. Chen grew up in Plano, TX before moving to St. Louis, Missouri to complete her undergraduate and medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis. She loved it there so much she went on to complete her internal medicine residency there and was chosen as a chief resident in internal medicine. After completing her gastroenterology fellowship, she moved to Portland, Oregon and worked for Kaiser Permanente as a general gastroenterologist. She and her family then decided to return home to Texas and join the North Dallas Digestive Disease Specialists. In her training and her practice, Dr. Chen has treated a wide range of general gastroenterology diseases. She has a special interest in nutrition and colon cancer screening. She is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, yoga, and spending time with her family.
