About A. J. Rush, MD

Augustus John (A.J.) Rush, III, M.D. is an orthopedic spine surgeon practicing in Dallas and Las Colinas, Texas. 

Dr. Rush graduated cum laude from Tulane University in New Orleans. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.  After being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. He completed his fellowship training in spine surgery at Midwest Orthopedics/Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He has specialized training in the most up-to-date minimally invasive spine surgery techniques and the use of advanced technology such as augmented reality.
