After all, we understand that insurance and hospital billing are complicated topics and generally the last thing anyone wants to think about as they are preparing to undergo surgery. Your hospital bill covers services provided by the hospital including your room, nursing care, meals, housekeeping and linen, for example. It may also include services ordered by your physician such as x-rays, laboratory tests, medical supplies and oxygen. To obtain a copy of your bill, contact the Central Business Office at (800) 715-7210. You will need to provide your name, date of birth, account number, and the date of service.
Your bill will not include charges for your personal physician, surgeon, anesthesiologist, pathologist, radiologist, or other physician assistants. You will receive separate bills from these physicians.
